I first met Barbara in 2017, when I was brand new to the sales world. I had spent seven years working full time at the bedside as a nurse before making the leap into industry, and honestly, I had no idea what to expect.
We met at new hire training. She was being onboarded as a manager, and I was stepping in as a clinical specialist. During breaks and dinners, we found ourselves talking often. From the very beginning, Barbara was incredibly insightful.
Over time, we stayed in touch while working at the same company. Anytime I faced a challenge or simply needed perspective, she was someone I could turn to. Since then, I’ve moved on to two other companies, and Barbara has continued to support me through each transition whether it was negotiating, strategizing, or thinking through how to communicate effectively.
There is a warmth about Barbara that makes all the hard walls melt. Around her, I can be my true self. I don’t have to worry about saying the “right” thing, I can just say what’s real. She has a way of listening, validating, and gently helping me see things differently. Somehow, she turns uncertainty into clarity.
She has been part therapist, part coach and honestly, a true career treatment expert.
